Adam McDonald, B.A., PhD Candidate in Counseling Psychology
Professional Highlights: Adam is currently completing his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Brigham Young University (BYU). He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology from Southern Utah University. He previously worked at BYU’s Biofeedback Center helping clients learn and incorporate mindfulness and stress management techniques into their lives.
Specialties: Adam provides psychotherapy to individuals of all ages, groups, and couples. He practices primarily from an integrative evidence-based approach where he utilizes interpersonal, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness-based treatments. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar, LGBTQ+ concerns, and relationship issues. He particularly enjoys and appreciates working with clients with diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
