Anthony Rose, B.A., PhD Candidate in Counseling Psychology
Professional Highlights: Anthony is currently completing his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at BYU. He previously earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada, with a minor in religious studies. He has 4 years of clinical experience working in both a university setting and private practice.
Specialties: Anthony works with both adults and adolescents. He is interested in treating those who experience depression, anxiety/social phobia, insomnia, pornography/masturbation struggles, religious concerns, and borderline personality disorder. He incorporates Client-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Emotionally Focused (EFT), Psychodynamic, and Existential perspectives in his practice. He is comfortable working with a wide range of diverse populations, including LGBTQ+. He has additional training and interest in couples counseling, implementing spirituality-based interventions, when requested by the client, and has assessment training with intelligence, personality, and ADHD testing.
