Learning disorder assessments are used to help determine if an individual has deficits in learning and whether or not they are consistent with a specific learning disorder. Individuals with a specific learning disorder can qualify for needed accommodations to help them succeed at work or school. Recommendations for academic and/or work accommodations are made based on the nature and severity of the disorder.
Our learning disorder assessment includes a thorough interview with the individual and/or those who can provide an accurate life history. The individual is given age-appropriate tests which are used to determine how/where the individual compares to same age peers in multiple academic and intelligence fields. After results are obtained, the evaluator completes an integrated and comprehensive report. Upon completion of the report, the individual and/or guardian are scheduled for a feedback session where the findings and recommendations are presented and discussed
