Morgan Christensen, BS, PhD Candidate in Counseling Psychology
Professional Highlights: Morgan is currently completing a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at BYU. She previously earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from BYU and worked as an elementary school teacher for over four years. She has experience working in mental health in both university and private settings. She also has a variety of experience in psychological testing and interpretation.
Specialities: Morgan works primarily with adolescents and adults with a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, and trauma. Her therapy approach is grounded in cognitive-behavior therapy, and includes elements of client-centered therapy, mindfulness, and developmentally oriented treatments. Morgan is passionate about working collaboratively with clients to help align treatment with clients’ personal beliefs and values.
