Professional Highlights: Russell is currently completing his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Brigham Young University (BYU).

Specialties:  Russell uses an interpersonal approach in therapy, and views relationships as one of the most important factors when pursuing long-term healing. His passion for therapy comes from his desire to help people face life’s difficulties with courage and resilience. He integrates aspects of different approaches in his work, including mindfulness, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Existential Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He enjoys working with individual adults and adolescents, and loves working with couples as well. Russell works with people struggling with a variety of issues, including depression and anxiety, spiritual concerns and faith crises, sexual concerns, relationship problems, trauma, personality issues, OCD, and multicultural and diversity issues (sexual orientation, race, etc.).
